You live in the middle of the Natural Park "Steinhuder Meer", far from the tourist bustle in the most beautiful and picturesque bay of the sea directly on the water with its own boat dock.

The Steinhuder Meer has an area of about 30 km². It is the largest lake in northwest Germany.
As a popular excursion destination in the Hannover region, the lake offers many opportunities for leisure activities. Its water quality is excellent.

Residents are the cities Wunstorf, Neustadt am Rübenberge (with Mardorf) and Rehburg-Loccum (Winzlar) and the integrated municipality of Sachsenhagen (with Hagenburg).
