It is a historical family house from the beginning 20th century in a very picturesque bay at the lake Steinhuder Meer northwest of Hannover in Germany. The old shore house is built by our painting great grandfather Emil Lindemann.
You are living in the middle of the natural park, far away from the touristic turbulences in the nicest bay of Steinhuder Meer lake called after our ancestor: Lindemanns Bucht. The Shore House has also an own landing stage to the water.
Connect your visit to the fair with a restful stay in our shore house on the Steinhuder Meer. From there it is only few minutes away by foot into the village of Steinhude, by passing sailing Clubs and restaurants before reaching the sight worthy typical Northern German village centre.
The shore house Steenewark is situated in an idyllic bay and stunning mature trees in the Natural Park of Steinhude. On our own boat dock is a rowing boat and a kayak.
Admire the unique sunsets right from the boat dock.
For a large family or a holiday with friends you have three floors. For smaller companies or trade fair visitors, the beach house can be divided into two units by a lockable separating door.
The upper unit "nautical cabin" is perfect for sailors and young people. The cabin is a fully equipped small duplex apartment with a bunk bed for 2 people and a sofa bed for one to two more people.
The shore house has its own hammam (a Turkish steam bath). A garden plot with sunbathing area, a sun terrace with wonderful views of the bay, invite you to unwind - away from the hustle and bustle.
